<p></p> <strong>Maintenance Engineer</strong> <strong>West Wales</strong> <strong>£40,000 per year</strong> <strong>What You'll Do:</strong> You will join a fast paced food manufacturing environment as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical skill set. This is a hands on, days based role supporting planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of production and packing machinery. With major site investment underway, including new automated lines and a modern workshop, you will play a key part in maintaining reliability while the site continues to expand. Your role will involve: <ul><li>Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment</li><li>Working with three phase systems, motors, control panels and electrical circuits</li><li>Fault finding and diagnosing breakdowns quickly and safely</li><li>Supporting mechanical repairs as part of a genuinely multiskilled team</li><li>Basic PLC fault finding on digital and analogue systems, with training available</li><li>Assisting with installation and commissioning of new machinery and future automated lines</li><li>Working days, typically around 50 hours a week, with some flexibility around start and finish times</li><li>Maintaining safe working practices and contributing to continuous improvement</li></ul><strong>What You'll Bring:</strong><ul><li>Experience as a Maintenance or Multiskilled Engineer within manufacturing, ideally food or FMCG</li><li>Strong electrical competency, particularly with three phase and control panel work</li><li>Good mechanical capability and confidence handling mechanical breakdowns</li><li>Familiarity with PLC fault finding or an interest in developing these skills</li><li>Practical, positive attitude with the willingness to get stuck in</li><li>Flexibility to support production requirements when needed, while working within a supportive team</li><li>Desire to learn, take feedback and grow with a developing engineering function</li><li>Strong commitment to safe working and high maintenance standards</li></ul><strong>Why You Should Apply:</strong><ul><li>Salary of around £40,000 with significant overtime availability</li><li>Days based role in a busy food manufacturing environment</li><li>Join a site investing in new equipment, automation and a state of the art workshop</li><li>Become a key part of a small engineering team where your contribution is valued</li><li>Supportive and hands on manager who understands flexibility and family commitments</li><li>Opportunity to grow your skills in PLCs, automation and modern production systems</li><li>Long term progression as the site continues to expand and strengthen the engineering department</li></ul><strong>Ready to Apply?</strong> Contact <strong>Jacob Purcell</strong> to find out more.
