<p><strong>Mac Support Engineer - 6-month contract - London - 4 days a week contract</strong></p><p>My Customer is looking for a proactive and hands-on <strong>Mac Support Engineer</strong> to join a growing IT function. This role will focus on supporting a predominantly macOS environment, ensuring end users receive a seamless and efficient IT experience across devices, collaboration tools, and core systems.</p><p>You'll play a key role in 1/2 line day-to-day support, onboarding, and device management, while also contributing to ongoing improvements as the business evolves its tooling and infrastructure.</p><p>This Mac Support Engineer will work fully onsite in Central London for 4 days per week.</p><p><strong>Required Skills & Experience from the Mac Support Engineer:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience supporting <strong>macOS environments</strong> in a corporate setting</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>Jamf MDM</strong> for device investigation and management</li><li>Exposure to <strong>Fleet Device Management</strong> (or willingness to learn as part of a migration)</li><li>Experience supporting <strong>Zoom Rooms or AV/meeting room technology</strong></li><li>Basic understanding of <strong>network troubleshooting</strong>, ideally within a Meraki environment</li><li>Experience with <strong>Okta administration</strong> (user management and access support)</li><li>Strong experience managing <strong>user onboarding and offboarding processes</strong></li><li>Knowledge of <strong>IT asset management and inventory tracking</strong></li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills with a user-focused mindset</li></ul><p><strong>Key responsibilities of the Mac Support Engineer:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide <strong>1st and 2nd line support</strong> across a macOS-based environment</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to <strong>Mac devices, applications, and user access</strong></li><li>Support and maintain <strong>Zoom Rooms</strong>, ensuring meeting spaces are fully operational</li><li>Use <strong>Jamf MDM</strong> to investigate device issues, enforce policies, and support endpoint management</li><li>Assist with the transition to <strong>Fleet Device Management</strong>, including basic administration and troubleshooting</li><li>Investigate basic <strong>network-related issues</strong> using the Meraki dashboard</li><li>Administer <strong>Okta</strong>, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and password resets</li><li>Manage <strong>end-to-end onboarding and offboarding</strong>, ensuring a smooth user experience</li></ul><p><em>Apply now to speak with VIQU IT in confidence.
