<p><strong>Logistics & Transport Coordinator - Cookstown - Permanent</strong></p> <p>A well-established and growing manufacturing company are currently seeking a Logistics & Transport Coordinator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.</p> <p>This is a customer-focused role with direct contact with both internal departments and external transport providers. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.</p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <ul> <li>£Competitive salary (DOE)</li> <li>8am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-1pm Fri = 39 hours weekly</li> <li>Full-time, permanent position</li> <li>Opportunity to develop within a growing business</li> <li>Supportive and collaborative working environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Liaising with internal departments to plan and coordinate transport loads</li> <li>Arranging and booking transport with approved haulage providers</li> <li>Preparing and maintaining accurate load records and documentation</li> <li>Issuing dispatch paperwork and ensuring timely return of POD (Proof of Delivery) documentation</li> <li>Monitoring transport schedules to ensure delivery targets are met</li> <li>Providing general administrative support to the wider team</li> <li>Supporting Lean processes and identifying opportunities for improvement</li> <li>Ensuring compliance with quality standards such as ISO 9001, FSC and Q Mark</li> <li>Maintaining professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues</li> <li>Reporting any issues with plant, equipment or processes</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you'll need for this role:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous transport or logistics administration experience (desirable)</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities</li> <li>Good numeracy and literacy skills</li> <li>Ability to work independently and use initiative</li> <li>A positive, enthusiastic and committed attitude</li> <li>Good commercial awareness</li> </ul> <p>Riada Resourcing is an equal opportunities employer. </p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?RINZcmghf3eMsFg%2fzDJ9sHL6IatABwqcx" width="0" height="0" />
