<p><strong>LiveSmart Manager</strong></p><ul><li>Annual Salary: £12.60 PAYE / £15.70 Umbrella</li><li>Locations: CM1, Harlow & CM21, Baintree</li><li>Job Type: Full-time, Office-based</li></ul><p>We are seeking a dedicated LiveSmart Manager to oversee the safety and security of our LiveSmart scheme. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in face-to-face customer service, such as carers or receptionists who have worked within a homeless shelter. The position involves managing various aspects of the property, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents.</p><p><strong>Day-to-day of the role:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct regular health and safety checks including weekly, monthly, and quarterly inspections.</li><li>Act as the first point of contact for residents, contractors, and visitors, managing access to the building.</li><li>Coordinate with contractors for repairs and maintenance of communal areas and facilities.</li><li>Manage and monitor communal areas, including laundry facilities, to ensure they are well-maintained.</li><li>Handle and resolve complaints related to communal areas and facilities.</li><li>Advise tenants on rent management and property maintenance.</li><li>Perform water testing and emergency equipment checks in communal areas.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and complete all actions identified in the fire risk assessment.</li><li>Provide cover and manage additional tasks as required, including potential work at an alternative site in Braintree CM7, with mileage compensation.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills & Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in facilities management or a similar role.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with experience in a service-based role, preferably involving older people or the general public.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, capable of adapting to different audiences.</li><li>Good understanding of health and safety management.</li><li>Proficient in IT (Word, Excel, Outlook, and in-house systems).</li><li>Knowledge of the housing/building management sector.</li><li>Flexible to cover out of hours emergencies and travel to alternative sites as required.</li><li>Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive hourly rate.</li><li>Mileage compensation for travel to alternative sites.</li><li>Opportunity to work in a role that directly impacts the quality of life for residents.</li><li>Dynamic work environment with the potential for job extension.</li></ul><p>To apply for the LiveSmart Manager position, please submit your CV detailing your relevant experience.</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?KmGIYyL1tv4%2bMpVex0aZd5L0wHjIujfiu" width="0" height="0" />
