Lead Activities Coordinator

<p>The Lead Activities Coordinator is a pivotal role within our client's Care Home, responsible for enhancing the quality of life for residents through the development and implementation of engaging and meaningful activities. </p><p>This position requires a passionate and creative individual who can design an inclusive activity programme that caters to the diverse interests and abilities of older adults. </p><p>The job holder will build connections with the wider community, engage volunteers, and ensure that all activities foster social interaction, physical engagement and cognitive stimulation. </p><p>This role is crucial in creating a vibrant, supportive environment where residents feel valued, connected and engaged.</p><p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p><p>• A relevant qualification in social care, recreational therapy or a related field e.g. Level 3 (QCF) Supporting the Activities Provision, or degree in Occupational Therapy or similar desired</p><p>• At least one additional certification in arts/music therapy/community or engagement/music</p><p><strong>Experience </strong></p><p>• Proven experience in planning and implementing activities or programmes for people.</p><p>• Background in coordinating events or programmes in a health or social care environment.</p><p>• Experience in leading group activities or workshops.</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>• Pension Scheme</p><p>• Training & Development / Study Support</p><p>• Blue Light Discount Eligibility</p><p>• Employee Reward & Recognition Platform</p><p>Working 35 hours per week.</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?sFiDUbGRNFc4tdvH285ilxrV%2bpQyhDgdi" width="0" height="0" />
