Lates PSV-HGV Engineer

We have an opportunity for an Afternoon/ Evening Engineer to join our Kiddermisnster depot.<br /><br />Rate of pay is £22.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.<br /><br />We are looking for engineers to work a 40-hour contract Monday - Friday 14.00pm - 10.30pm (With a 2230 finish on a Friday)<br /><br />The individual must be a team player willing to learn and adapt to the running of a busy workshop.<br /><br />Experience of the industry HGV or PSV is necessary, and the individual must be confident in fault finding and rectification of all types of faults and defects.<br /><br />A PSV licence is preferred for the role but not essential<br /><br />A good knowledge of the DVSA rules and legislation is important as inspections and MOT preparation will be required.<br /><br />Your daily tasks will include:<br /><br /> Preparing the fleet for PVR the next morning<br /> Service and inspections of the fleet.<br /> Defect and rectification from driver walk round checks at the end of the busses shift<br /> Engine, Adblue, Gearbox, Running gear replacements and repairs.<br /> Attending and repairing roadside breakdowns where possible<br /><br />Job Types: Full-time, Permanent<br /><br />Pay: £22.50 per hour<br /><br />Benefits:<br /> Company pension<br /> Free or subsidised travel<br /> On-site parking<br><br>Application question(s):<br /> Do you have good knowledge of DVSA rules and legislation?<br /> Do you have experience of MOT preparation?<br /><br />Work Location: In person<img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?%2bjBHvVsVsDfbBtwUvH95E4nXkf%2bLiE9Sv" width="0" height="0" />
