Junior BIM Coordinator

The studio offers structured training, mentoring, and a collaborative working culture, making it an ideal environment to grow your career in BIM coordination.Your new roleWorking under the guidance of a senior team member, the Junior BIM Coordinator will support the delivery of BIM processes across a range of projects. This role offers hands-on experience and excellent development opportunities within a professional BIM environment.Your responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Assisting with the delivery of BIM-enabled projects across multiple work stages</li><li>Supporting the implementation of BIM standards and workflows</li><li>Assisting with model coordination and monitoring information quality</li><li>Providing day-to-day BIM support to project teams</li><li>Assisting with model reviews, audits, reporting and coordination tasks</li><li>Liaising with internal teams and external consultants</li><li>Continuing to develop technical BIM knowledge and skills through live projects</li></ul><p>What you'll need to succeedYou will ideally demonstrate:</p><ul><li>RIBA Part 1, ARB/RIBA Part 1 equivalent, or CIAT-accredited Architectural Technology degree</li><li>Around 2 years' experience in a CAD, Revit or BIM-focused role within practice (including placement or post-graduate experience)</li><li>Good understanding of the architectural process and technical delivery</li><li>Working knowledge of BIM software and processes, particularly Revit</li><li>Awareness of model coordination, federation, audits and clash detection</li><li>Basic familiarity with COBie, Uniclass and specification metadata</li><li>Awareness of statutory requirements, quality management, health & safety and duty of care</li><li>Strong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach</li><li>A genuine desire to learn and develop a career in BIM coordination</li></ul><p>What you'll get in returnIn return, you will receive:</p><ul><li>Salary of £30,000-£35,000</li><li>Annual performance and salary reviews</li><li>Annual summer bonus (paid consistently for over 12 years)</li><li>Good pension scheme</li><li>Flexible working hours (subject to routine)</li><li>Private healthcare</li><li>Structured CPD and training</li><li>In-house mentoring and career development support</li><li>Wellbeing initiatives and regular reviews</li><li>Social, charity and studio engagement activities</li></ul><p>What you need to do nowIf this role sounds of interest, click 'apply now' to submit your CV.If you're exploring other opportunities within architecture or BIM, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your next move.</p><p>Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
