The client operates on a hybrid schedule (2-3 days on-site in Woking.)</p><p><strong>Description</strong></p><p><strong>Communications and relationships</strong></p><ul><li>Builds strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the assigned business area</li><li>Attends relevant business meetings and forums to represent IT and ensure alignment between business requirements and IT capabilities</li><li>Understands both tactical and strategic business requirements and identifies how IT can support them</li><li>Owns the relationship between the business area and IT, acting as an ambassador for IT</li><li>Provides monthly reporting to Steering Committee meetings on the status of change initiatives</li><li>Understands the Business Strategy and its implications for IT strategy</li><li>Identifies how business and IT strategies impact operational processes and works with appropriate teams to ensure successful implementation</li><li>Identifies key challenges and issues within the business area and develops solutions to address them</li></ul><p><strong>Demand management</strong></p><ul><li>Acts as the focal point for IT demand within the assigned business area</li><li>Develops a strong understanding of the assigned business area to clearly identify and articulate demand</li><li>Identifies current and future demand for IT services</li><li>Works with the business to develop business cases for new demand</li><li>Ensures the IT project pipeline accurately reflects business priorities and needs</li><li>Supports and, where necessary, leads or champions the business through change management activities</li></ul><p><strong>Service assurance</strong></p><ul><li>Ensures IT services meet the needs of the assigned business area</li><li>Gathers feedback on IT services and works with the IT Service Management team to agree and deliver improvement actions</li><li>Owns relationships with third-party suppliers to ensure the business receives optimal service and value for money</li><li>Uses deep understanding of the assigned business area to ensure that transitions from delivery into live service are seamless</li></ul><p><strong>Innovation</strong></p><ul><li>Champions innovation and continuous process improvement</li><li>Identifies opportunities for business improvement and cost reduction</li><li>Promotes innovation across the organisation by sharing ideas and best practices between business areas</li></ul><p><strong>Business change management</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, associated business change outcomes, and the realisation of benefits</li></ul><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of ITIL, Prince2 and Agile methodology and working practices preferable but not essential</li><li>Degree Qualified or equivalent work experience</li><li>Experience of work in large multi business unit corporate organisations and centralised IT functions.</li><li>Experience work working with Board Level Directors (C-suite)</li><li>Exceptional Stakeholder and Relationship Management</li><li>Excellent understanding of travel, transport, and logistics operations</li><li>Excellent presentation and communication skills</li><li>Highly accomplished to communicate complex problems in a non-technical and simplified manner</li><li>Highly accomplished to effectively communicate business needs to IT</li><li>Ability to effectively quantify and translate technical solutions, from business "problems"</li><li>Attention to detail and excellent analytic skills</li><li>Highly self-motivated and well organised and able to work on own initiative</li><li>Seeking opportunities for improvement in self and the business</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, able to influence and drive collaboration, leads by example</li></ul><p><strong>Job Offer</strong></p><p>A competitive salary and benefits package </p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?50N8xKcU4F34DRpDic%2f721st8UIPJOy1d" width="0" height="0" />
