<p><strong>Higher Clerical Officer - Omagh</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Join the public sector in Omagh as a Higher Clerical Officer and support the delivery of key administrative services within a busy office environment. This role is ideal for someone with previous admin experience who is highly organised, confident using Microsoft Office, and comfortable coordinating meetings, managing diaries, and communicating with a range of departments and external contacts.</p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <ul> <li>£12.75 per hour Location: Holyvilla, Omagh Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm) 37.5 hours per week Initially 1 month with possibility of extension up to 3-6 months</li> </ul> <p>Please note the closing date for this vacancy is 12 noon on Monday 25th May 2026, however you can register your interest for other upcoming vacancies by applying today.</p> <p><strong>What you'll be doing in this role:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Arranging diary dates, meetings, venues, travel and hospitality, including minute taking when required</li> <li>Carrying out routine administrative duties including filing, mail distribution, photocopying and document preparation</li> <li>Drafting routine correspondence for signature Liaising with staff, departments, hospitals, members of the public and external agencies Handling telephone calls and enquiries appropriately</li> <li>Assisting with PowerPoint presentations, policies and statistical reports</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you'll need for this role:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English Language or equivalent and 1 year admin/clerical experience</li> </ul> <p>OR</p> <ul> <li>NVQ Level 2 Business Administration (or equivalent) and 1 year admin/clerical experience</li> </ul> <p>OR</p> <ul> <li>3 years admin/clerical experience</li> <li>You must also have experience using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, along with experience arranging meetings and taking minutes.</li> </ul> <p> </p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?sFiDUbGRNFfUWuFeTb9YTnI%2f3Td81VXPi" width="0" height="0" />
