Occasional on-site presence is required. </b></p> <p><b>What We Offer</b> </p> <ul><li>£per year (includes all expenses/allowances) </li><li>Monthly PAYE pay </li><li>Modern new fleet (Mercedes or Man trucks) </li><li>Pension scheme (auto-enrolment) </li><li>Ongoing training and development </li><li>Free uniform & PPE, where applicable </li><li>Secure on-site parking for personal vehicles</li></ul> <p><b>What You'll Do:</b> </p> <ul><li>Long-haul driving: You will be delivering freight across the UK, often spending nights away in your vehicle. </li><li>Bay-to-bay delivery only, with <b>no manual handling: </b>All deliveries are drop-and-go (bay-to-bay), meaning you won't be lifting goods. </li><li>Drive a modern, well-maintained modern fleet, you should also be confident in basic navigation and journey planning. </li><li>Follow all road safety rules and company policies, including rest breaks and driving hours. </li><li>Carry out daily checks and report any issues - we pride ourselves on running a reliable, safe fleet. </li><li>Use of SNAP accounts and fuel cards for ease on the road </li><li>Consistent work with 5 consecutive tramping shifts Sun-Fri. </li></ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Requirements:</b> </p> <ul><li>Full UK C+E License (Class 1): You must hold a valid Class 1 license to operate articulated vehicles. </li><li>Minimum <b>2 year of HGV experience</b>: We're looking for drivers who are confident on UK roads and understand industry expectations. </li><li>Clean license preferred: We accept up to 6 points, but no serious endorsements such as TT (disqualification), DR (drink driving), or IN (insurance offences). </li><li>Fluency in English Language (preferred) </li><li>UK road law knowledge: Understanding the Highway Code, rest break rules, and HGV-specific regulations. </li><li>Right to work in the UK: You must have valid documents confirming your eligibility. </li><li>Safety first - all drivers must pass pre-employment screening (drug and alcohol test, background check).</li></ul> <p><b>Schedule</b> </p> <ul><li>Day and night shifts </li><li>5 days per week, including some weekends </li><li>Overnight tramping required </li></ul> <p><b>Ready to Apply?</b> Take the wheel and join a company that truly values its drivers.
