<strong>Health & Safety Manager</strong><strong>Location: Office-based (with nationwide travel) Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE) Hours: Monday - Friday Type: Permanent</strong> We are currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a well-established and growing construction company. This is a key position within the business, responsible for ensuring compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting operational teams across multiple sites nationwide.<strong>The Role</strong> As Health & Safety Manager, you will take ownership of all HSE activities across the business, ensuring full compliance with current legislation and industry best practice. While the role is primarily office-based, you will be required to travel to sites across the UK to carry out inspections, audits, and provide on-site support.<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><ul><li>Develop, implement, and maintain health & safety policies and procedures</li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation</li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments</li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, producing detailed reports</li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Deliver health & safety training and toolbox talks</li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Support site teams in maintaining a safe working environment</li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance across the business</li></ul></ul><strong>What We're Looking For</strong><ul><ul><li>NEBOSH qualification (essential)</li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Proven experience within a Health & Safety role in the construction industry</li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation</li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels</li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Willingness to travel to sites nationwide</li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Proactive, organised, and able to work independently</li></ul></ul> If you're a dedicated Health & Safety professional looking for your next challenge within construction, we'd love to hear from you.<img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?G0hIdw8wptvFz3qAztLI8Kva%2bU6DYLmCq" width="0" height="0" />
