This is a pivotal middle-management position that involves driving academic excellence across GCSE and our expanding Sixth Form provision, including the line management of <strong>Law</strong>.</p><strong>The Role</strong><p>As the Head of Department, you won't just be managing a curriculum; you will be curating a knowledge-rich experience that enables students to see the world differently. Your mission will be to:</p><ul><li><p><strong>Lead & Innovate:</strong> Formulate faculty improvement plans and develop high-quality syllabuses and schemes of work.</p></li><li><p><strong>Drive Achievement:</strong> Be accountable for student attainment, using data-driven insights to raise standards and monitor progress.</p></li><li><p><strong>Mentor & Manage:</strong> Build and motivate a team of dedicated staff, acting as a role model for outstanding teaching and learning.</p></li><li><p><strong>Bridge the Gap:</strong> Use your expertise to tackle educational disadvantage, ensuring every student-regardless of background-achieves their individual potential.</p></li></ul><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong><p>We want a leader who combines academic rigor with empathetic leadership.
