<p>Prospero Teaching are looking for a passionate and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Geography to join a supportive Secondary School in Thurrock starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their teaching career in a well-established department, delivering engaging Geography lessons and inspiring students across Key Stages 3 and 4.</p><p><strong>CONTRACT DETAILS</strong> Location - Thurrock Position - Geography Teacher (ECT) Type of work - Teaching Start date - September Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing Contract type - Temporary Full time/part-time - Full time Minimum rate of pay - £160-£220 per day Hours - 8:00 am - 4:00 pm</p><p><strong>EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS</strong> QTS or working towards QTS Specialism in Geography Recent experience teaching or training in a UK secondary school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year</p><p><strong>TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:</strong> Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child-related references</p><p><strong>OTHER</strong> If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
