<p><strong>Floating Support Officer</strong></p><p><strong>£27,356 a year</strong></p><p><strong>Stoke-on-Trent</strong></p><p><strong>Hours per week 37.5</strong></p><p><strong>Contract type Permanent</strong></p><p></p><p>As a Floating Support Officer, you will work with the Floating Support Team to deliver high quality support to our client's customers who are vulnerable and/or have complex needs, living in all tenures within Stoke on Trent. The role will provide support in offering resettlement and sustainment support throughout the city.</p><p></p><p><strong>What you'll do: </strong></p><ul><li>Complete inductions, risk assessments, and co-produce personalised, person-centred support plans.</li><li>Deliver ongoing support across tenancy sustainment, resettlement, finances, health, and move-on goals.</li><li>Signpost and advocate for access to services, addressing barriers related to mental health, substance use, and offending.</li><li>Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners and support networks to achieve positive outcomes.</li><li>Empower customers to manage tenancies, maximise income, address debts, and successfully move into independent housing.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Who you are: </strong></p><ul><li>A good level of education including GCSE English and maths, or equivalent.</li><li>Demonstrable experience of working in a similar sector or transferable skills.</li><li>Experience of working with customers with complex needs.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Experience in completing forms and applications for benefits and grants.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and demands.</li></ul><p></p><p>The successful candidate will be required to complete a DBS check. </p><p></p><p>Apply now!
