<p><strong>Engineering Document Controller/ Draughtsperson</strong></p><p> Bordon, Hampshire</p><p> Full-time Engineering Department</p><p></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We are seeking a detail-focused and proactive Draughtsperson / Document Controller to join a busy Engineering team within a high-tech manufacturing environment.</p><p>This role combines technical drawing support with responsibility for engineering documentation and product data management. You will play a key part in ensuring engineering data is accurate, well-maintained, and fully compliant with internal procedures and quality standards.</p><p>The business operates in the design and manufacture of advanced power conversion products used across sectors such as data centres, transport, energy storage, and automation.</p><p><strong>Hours & Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>38 hours per week (early finish on Fridays) </li><li>Pension scheme, life assurance, and income protection </li><li>Bonus scheme and additional employee benefits </li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage and maintain engineering product data and documentation </li><li>Support engineering change processes and product updates </li><li>Create and update drawings, parts lists, and work instructions </li><li>Ensure correct document control in line with ISO 9001 standards </li><li>Maintain version control, storage, and retrieval of technical files </li><li>Support Product Data Management systems and users </li><li>Assist with mechanical design office and testing support when required</li></ul><p><strong>Experience required</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in a similar engineering / document control role </li><li>Strong attention to detail and organised working style </li><li>Confident using CAD systems (e.g. SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office </li><li><strong>Operational experience with:</strong></li><li>Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) / Product Data Management (PDM) systems </li><li>Microsoft Excel </li><li>Microsoft Word </li><li>CAD / MechCAD applications such as SolidWorks</li><li>Understanding of manufacturing processes and ISO 9001 standards </li><li>Able to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines </li><li>Strong communication skills and a proactive approach</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Apply now or call Lynsey at Key Recruitment for more information</strong></p><p></p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?G0hIdw8wptuIC3N08k26oLPKNDRTs9qrq" width="0" height="0" />
