Electronics Engineer

<p>We are seeking a proactive and technically strong Electronics Engineer to join a small, specialist team supporting global conferencing and communication solutions.</p><p>This is a hands-on support role, focused on troubleshooting, testing, and configuration not field installation supporting customers and partners worldwide. Ideally, the candidate will have an electronics / system background with a good working knowledge of IP infrastructure and IP based systems.</p><p></p><p><strong>Electronics Engineer responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Providing product technical support via telephone, email, social media etc to our customer base and internally</li><li>Occasional site visit to assist customers and end users may be required</li><li>Technical Training / Technical Assistance to customers including the preparation and deliver of training courses</li><li>Working with and assisting the sales team to ensure customers care expectations are maintained</li><li>Testing and configuration of some our products prior to despatch.</li><li>Where time allows, assisting the in house small batch production team with testing and configuration. This may include some light assembly work (both mechanical and electrical).</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Skills & experience required: </strong></p><ul><li>Experience in a technical support / service engineer role</li><li>HNC / HND (or equivalent) in Engineering, IT, or Telecommunications (preferred)</li><li>Ability to rework / rectify circuit boards to component level.</li><li>Soldering skills.</li><li>Good working knowledge of Ethernet experience, TCP/IP configuration etc.</li><li>Device configuration software USB interfaces etc.</li><li>Use of oscilloscopes, digital volt meters.</li><li>Experience of SIP Telephony Systems would be beneficial</li><li>Proactive, patient, and detail-oriented approach</li><li>Ability to work independently as a key member of a small technical team</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Wild Recruitment Ltd T/A First Recruitment Services is acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?G0hIdw8wptvxr9mJRM9ANwhpEQiCIkPnq" width="0" height="0" />
