<strong>Job</strong><strong>Title</strong>: Junior Electronic Design Engineer<strong>Location</strong>: Cambridge (Hybrid Working - 3 Days On-Site Per Week)<strong>Salary</strong>: £40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus & Benefits (Depending on Experience) <strong>Please Note</strong>: All Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without the need for VISA sponsorship now or in the future.<strong>Role Overview:</strong>Zenovo are looking for an Junior Electronic Design Engineer to join their client in Cambridge who design and manufacture globally recognised consumer electronics.An ideal candidate will have at least 1-Year of Experience outside of University however we are happy to consider candidates who have done a Sandwich Degree and completed a year in Industry during their studies.<strong>Job Responsibilities: </strong><ul><li>Work on electronics hardware development projects, with hands-on involvement in specification, design, implementation, and testing.</li><li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal hardware development processes in collaboration with the Head of Software and Electronics.</li><li>Support EMC design, testing, and compliance efforts.</li><li>Perform product testing, including functionality, reliability, and safety assessments.</li><li>Undertake PCB rework and support prototyping activities.</li><li>Take ownership of assigned work packages, providing regular progress updates and ensuring delivery to agreed deadlines.</li><li>Coordinate with external suppliers and contract manufacturers.</li><li>Develop and support the creation of test procedures for both laboratory and manufacturing environments.</li><li>Produce clear, professional-standard test reports</li></ul><strong>Required Skills & Experience: </strong><ul><li>Understanding of core electronics engineering principles, including analogue design, SMPS, EMC/EMI, and PCB development.</li><li>Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to diagnose issues and deliver effective engineering solutions.</li><li>Skilled in PCB design and schematic capture using Altium, or willing to develop expertise in this area.</li><li>Proficient in the use of test and measurement equipment such as, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), current probes and power supplies.</li><li>Demonstrates energy and enthusiasm for product development in fast-paced, dynamic environments.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.</li><li>Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.</li></ul><strong>Benefits: </strong>- 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays- Hybrid Working (Outside of an onboarding period)- Annual Bonus (At least 5%)- Enhanced Employer Pension Contributions- Access to External Training & Development Courses/Qualifications<img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?fD6Rn5hL2vXoSzwAWV0ZmCdbDLr%2fD4Spa" width="0" height="0" />
