<p>Electrician - Responsive Maintenance (Permanent)Location: BarnsleyContract: Full Time, PermanentWe are currently working on behalf of a well-established housing maintenance provider seeking a qualified and motivated Electrician to join their responsive maintenance team. This role involves delivering high-quality electrical repairs and installations across social housing properties in the Barnsley area.The roleYou'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical works in both occupied and void properties, ensuring all tasks meet current regulations and safety standards.Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Electrical repairs, fault finding, and installations</li><li>Emergency call-outs and urgent maintenance requests</li><li>Ensuring compliance with all electrical and health & safety regulations</li><li>Working collaboratively with tenants, housing officers, and other trade operatives</li></ul><p>What we're looking for</p><ul><li>Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation</li><li>18th Edition Wiring Regulations</li><li>2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)</li><li>Experience within social housing or domestic maintenance (desirable)</li><li>Full UK driving licence</li></ul><p>What's on offer</p><ul><li>Permanent role within a supportive and skilled team</li><li>Company vehicle and tools provided</li><li>Ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>Pension scheme, holiday allowance, and additional benefits</li></ul><p>Pre-employment checks:This position is subject to a Basic DBS check at offer stage.
