<strong>Deputy Children's Home Manager</strong> Derby £40,734 - £43,854 per year 40 hours per week<strong>About the Role</strong>We are seeking an experienced and motivated <strong>Deputy Manager</strong> to support the leadership of a children's residential home in Derby. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in the <strong>day-to-day management of the home</strong>, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for children and young people. This is an excellent opportunity for a <strong>Senior or Team Leader ready to step up</strong>, or an existing Deputy looking for a new challenge within a supportive and progressive environment.<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Support the Registered Manager in the overall running of the home</li><li>Lead, supervise, and develop the staff team</li><li>Ensure high standards of care in line with Children's Home Regulations</li><li>Oversee care planning and ensure positive outcomes for young people</li><li>Manage rotas, staffing levels, and recruitment support</li><li>Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager</li><li>Support with Ofsted inspections and compliance</li><li>Monitor budgets and young people's finances</li><li>Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture</li></ul><strong>About the Service</strong>The home operates in line with national standards and is committed to delivering <strong>safe, nurturing, and outcome-focused care</strong> for children and young people.
