This role is focused on <strong>operational technology (OT) cyber projects</strong>, working close to real systems and real users.</p><p>You'll be part of a highly cleared engineering team developing secure, robust software where correctness, performance and assurance genuinely matter.</p><p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p><ul><li>Developing <strong>high-assurance software</strong> in C++ for cyber and security-critical systems</li><li>Working on <strong>operational technology cyber projects</strong>, not just enterprise IT</li><li>Contributing to secure system design, implementation and verification</li><li>Collaborating with cyber specialists, systems engineers and end users</li><li>Supporting software through its full lifecycle in classified environments</li></ul><p><strong>Essential skills & experience</strong></p><ul><li>Strong <strong>C++ software engineering</strong> experience</li><li>Background in <strong>secure / high-assurance systems</strong> (defence, cyber, safety-critical or similar)</li><li>Solid understanding of secure coding practices and software design</li><li>Comfortable working in <strong>on-site, classified environments</strong></li><li>Active <strong>SC, DV or eDV clearance</strong></li></ul><p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with <strong>Golang and/or Rust</strong></li><li>Cyber security qualifications such as <strong>CEH, OSCP or similar</strong></li><li><strong>Vulnerability research and/or reverse engineering</strong> experience</li><li>Exposure to <strong>OT environments</strong>, embedded systems or low-level development</li><li>Experience working with MOD or national security customers</li></ul><p><strong>Why this role</strong></p><ul><li>Work on <strong>genuinely operational cyber projects</strong> with real-world impact</li><li>High-trust, highly technical engineering environment</li><li>Long-term programmes with stability and purpose</li><li>London-based role with a strong on-site engineering culture</li></ul><p></p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?aP%2fblHlMLSsHgvipbHLX6gL3hBxxcRSKr" width="0" height="0" />
