The business has already delivered a significant number of homes over recent years and built strong relationships with partners, funders and local authorities.</p><p></p><p>Under new ownership and guided by two highly respected senior leaders with extensive experience delivering large-scale residential projects across the UK, the company is now entering a new phase of growth. With existing schemes underway, a healthy pipeline of units and a clear ambition to modernise and strengthen the construction function, this is a pivotal moment to join.</p><p></p><p>This is a rare opportunity to step in early, shape the construction operation, set the standards and build a high-performing team within a business that has the energy, ambition and backing to scale.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the construction function across multiple residential schemes, ensuring safe, high-quality and timely delivery</li><li>Oversee the full build lifecycle, embedding strong programme discipline and buildability from pre-construction through to completion</li><li>Work closely with senior leadership to shape construction strategy, sequencing, logistics and delivery models</li><li>Build, mentor and develop a high-performing construction team with clear standards, accountability and strong site leadership</li><li>Collaborate with Commercial, Technical and Pre-Construction teams to ensure alignment on programme, cost, quality and risk</li><li>Maintain rigorous health and safety standards across all sites, ensuring a culture of safe working practices</li><li>Support early-stage planning and design reviews to ensure efficiency, buildability and commercial viability</li><li>Drive continuous improvement, implementing systems, processes and ways of working that support growth and operational excellence</li><li>Represent construction at senior leadership level, contributing to business planning, forecasting and long-term strategy</li><li>Ensure customer satisfaction benchmarks are met, with a focus on quality, handover standards and aftercare performance</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong></p><p></p><ul><li>Proven experience as a Construction Director or Senior Construction Leader within residential development, housebuilding or mixed-use delivery</li><li>Strong track record delivering multi-site programmes across traditional housing and/or mixed-use or mid-rise schemes</li><li>A hands-on, energetic leader who thrives in a fast-moving, delivery-focused environment</li><li>Experience shaping or improving construction systems, processes and delivery models</li><li>Ability to build and inspire teams, set standards and drive accountability</li><li>Commercial awareness and understanding of how construction decisions impact programme, cost and quality</li><li>A collaborative approach, working closely with Technical, Commercial and Pre-Con to ensure alignment</li><li>Someone who wants to be part of a rebuild - comfortable with challenge, excited by opportunity and motivated by creating something meaningful</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What's In It For You:</strong></p><ul><li>Basic Salary: £120,000-£150,000</li><li>Car / Car Allowance</li><li>Bonus Structure</li><li>25+ Days Holiday + Bank Holidays</li><li>Pension & Benefits Package</li><li>The chance to join early and shape the construction function from the ground up</li><li>Direct access to a highly respected leadership team with a track record of building successful residential businesses</li><li>Real influence, autonomy and the opportunity to put your stamp on a growing organisation</li><li>A pipeline of existing schemes and future opportunities that will support long-term growth and progression</li></ul><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?G0hIdw8wptu6XYmIuW3bD862E3NHCGl%2fq" width="0" height="0" />
