This role plays a key support position across engineering and the wider business, delivering technical guidance, robust data management, and high-quality component support.This opportunity would suit an individual with strong component knowledge who enjoys working within a structured, multi-disciplinary engineering environment.The RoleThe Component Engineer will be part of a collaborative team responsible for providing technical advice, managing component data, liaising with suppliers, and responding to internal stakeholder queries. The role combines technical understanding with strong administrative and quality-focused processes.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Responding to component-related support queries from internal stakeholders</li><li>Processing and maintaining component data, including lifecycle, export control, and REACH/RoHS compliance</li><li>Completing departmental administration tasks in line with defined processes</li><li>Providing support across electronic, electrical, mechanical, or materials commodities</li><li>Raising and managing requests with suppliers as required</li><li>Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the team</li></ul>Skills & Experience Required<ul><li>Proven knowledge and experience of engineering components and parts</li><li>An engineering degree or equivalent relevant industry experience</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook</li></ul>If you are interested please Apply and we will be in touch to discuss the role in further details.
