Compliance surveillance analyst

<p>We are working with a global financial organisation to recruit multiple compliance surveillance analysts to work on the surveillance team responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight for a suite of surveillances designed to detect behaviours that may violate regulatory rules or internal policies and procedures. These roles will be for 12 months with a possibility of extension or permanent positions. <br />Key ResponsibilitiesThe role will be part of the project team, and you will be responsible for: </p><ul><li>Reviewing and investigating trading alerts for firm, employees, and clients </li><li>Documenting findings clearly and escalating issues when needed </li><li>Analysing trade data and support responses to regulators </li><li>Communicating results to management and working with compliance, legal, and audit teams </li><li>Handling general tasks like enquiries, hotlines, data entry, and following compliance rules</li></ul><p><br />To be successful in this role, you will be expected to possess the following skills/experience:</p><ul><li>Previous relevant experience preferred</li><li>Some knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive</li><li>Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization</li><li>Strong project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time</li><li>Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)</li></ul><p><br />This role will require you to be in the Belfast office 3 days per week.
