<p><strong>CNC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer</strong>Location: Sheffield Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 + Overtime & 15% Pension Shift: Double Days (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)Early Finish Friday!</p><strong>The Opportunity</strong><p>We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing business experiencing continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer to take ownership of programming processes and play a key role in driving efficiency, quality and continuous improvement across the shop floor.</p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Take full ownership of CNC programs including creation, prove-out, optimisation and revision control</li><li>Program and edit using Fanuc and/or Siemens controls (training provided where required)</li><li>Utilise CAD/CAM systems (SolidCAM) alongside on-machine programming</li><li>Support efficient, repeatable production through continuous improvement</li><li>Select appropriate tooling, speeds and feeds across a range of materials</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues on the shop floor</li><li>Maintain accurate records and support quality processes</li><li>Work closely with production teams to improve machining performance</li></ul><strong>Skills & Experience</strong><ul><li>Strong CNC programming experience (Fanuc or Siemens)</li><li>Background in CAD/CAM systems (SolidCAM desirable, training available)</li><li>Confident with tooling selection and machining parameters</li><li>Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving ability</li><li>Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally</li><li>Understanding of CMM, oils/coolants and machining processes (training provided where needed)</li><li>Willingness to learn and attend training courses</li></ul><strong>What's on Offer</strong><ul><li>£38,000 - £42,000 basic salary</li><li>Overtime and/or shift allowance available</li><li>15% Pension </li><li>24 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday off (increasing with service)</li><li>Early finish every Friday</li><li>Private healthcare and strong wellbeing support</li><li>Industry-leading training and clear progression opportunities</li><li>Long-term career stability within a growing business</li></ul><strong>Additional Information</strong><ul><li>This role is due to continued growth within the business</li><li>Structured training both in-house and externally</li><li>Clear reporting line and support from management</li></ul><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?RINZcmghf3dPtHeb%2b84Rp2iTm5vU3Ipmx" width="0" height="0" />
