CNC Mill/ Turn

<p>A global manufacturing company is seeking experienced <strong>CNC Setter / Operator (Milling & Turning)</strong> to work at their modern manufacturing site in Nottingham. You will be responsible for operating and setting CNC Milling & Turning machines using Fanuc and Mazatrol controls.</p><p><strong>A selection of Shifts are available from: </strong></p><ul><li>Monday to Friday - Mornings and Afternoons,</li><li>Monday to Friday - Permanent Afternoons</li><li>Sunday to Thurs - Permanent Night Shift.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>c£38k (dependent on skills, higher £s require CNC programming experience)</strong></li><li><strong>PLUS Shift Premium</strong>Company Bonus Scheme (up to 5% of annual salary)<ul><li><strong>10% on Afternoon shift hours</strong></li><li><strong>OR 20% on perm Night shifts</strong></li></ul></li><li></li><li>25 Days Holidays plus bank holidays</li><li>Modern, clean facility</li><li>Access to onsite gym and Subsidised canteen</li></ul><p><strong>Shifts:</strong></p><p><strong>Rotating Mornings and Afternoons</strong></p><ul><li>Week 1: Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm, and Fri 6am to 1pm</li><li>Week 2: Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10pm and Friday 1pm to 8pm</li></ul><p><strong>Afternoons only</strong></p><ul><li>Monday to Thursday 2pm to 10pm and Friday 1pm to 8pm</li></ul><p><strong>Nights only</strong></p><ul><li>Sun 11pm - 6am, Mon to Thurs 10pm - 6am</li></ul><p><strong>Key responsibilities of CNC Setter / Operator:</strong></p><ul><li>Set / operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Milling & Turning Machines</li><li>Adjust machine controls (Fanuc and Mazatrol) and tool settings to keep part dimensions within specified tolerances</li><li>Work from CAD designs and specifications to complete various machining operations using information such as dimensions, tolerances, quantities, and any special instructions</li><li>Responsible for own quality using CMM and shadowgraph machines</li><li>Alter offsets according to SPC results</li><li>Participate in Lean / Six Sigma activities and other process improvement activities</li></ul><p><strong>CNC Setter / Operator Knowledge and Skills Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to use measuring equipment and interpret drawings</li><li>Good knowledge of CNC Milling & Turning machines and ability to set up tooling</li><li>Ability to use simple gauges or instruments</li><li>Working knowledge of maths in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Ability to work well in a team environment</li><li>Experience of working with Fanuc and Mazatrol controlled CNC machinery (desirable)</li></ul><p><strong>If you have the required skills and qualifications for the CNC Setter / Operator role and would relish an exciting challenge, please apply or contact Stuart Cooper to discuss in further detail. </strong> </p><p><strong><em>Wagstaff Recruitment - building trusted relationships to create great opportunities</em></strong></p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?NNcQ65VzYn3baEolkS%2bwlbNUZZ8oDFgpz" width="0" height="0" />
