The school focusses on helping every child to achieve their full potential and do this by delivering a rich curriculum and encouraging a love of learning.<strong>Your new role</strong>This school caretaker job is a full-time, temporary job and will consist of:</p><ul><li>Cleaning duties</li><li>Maintain any locks and security/fire doors</li><li>General maintenance</li><li>General ground works</li><li>Moving equipment and furniture</li><li>Keyholder responsibilities</li><li>Ensure the school is safe for all stakeholders</li><li>Recognised qualifications/substantial experience in a suitable trade, would be welcome to apply</li></ul><p><strong>What you'll need to succeed</strong>The ideal candidate will:</p><ul><li>Be able to work independently.</li><li>Have strong communication skills.</li><li>Maintenance skills</li><li>Caretaking/ Handy person experience (Ideal).</li><li>Legionella trained. (Desirable)</li><li>Joiner/Maintenance background.(Desirable)</li><li>Be proactive and have a strong work ethic. </li></ul><p>This job is a temporary position, we will need to be able to obtain references to cover the last 2 years as a minimum, and you will need to be willing to undergo a DBS check if you don't already have a DBS on the update service.<strong>What you'll get in return</strong>As well as receiving a competitive rate of pay, this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in an outstanding school.
