Care Assistant - Portstewart

<p>MPA are currently recruiting for Care Assistants to join our experienced team in the Portstewart area. This position will be based in a Nursing Home Setting with an immediate start and flexible working hours available. The pay rate is £13-£14 per hour depending on shift. The role will involve working closely with nurses to provide a high standard of care to residents.</p> <p> </p> <p>Role Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Providing a high standard of personal care to residents</li> <li>Providing assistant at meal times as well as recording food and fluid intake</li> <li>Promoting independence where possible</li> <li>Providing support with mobility</li> <li>Making beds</li> <li>Communicating with residents and making them feel comfortable</li> </ul> <p>Essential Criteria</p> <ul> <li>6 months' experience in a similar role</li> <li>NISCC Registered or willingness to apply</li> <li>Willingness to complete training courses</li> <li>Willingness to complete Access NI checks</li> </ul> <p>Desirable Criteria</p> <ul> <li>Health and Social Care Qualification</li> </ul> <p>Rewards</p> <ul> <li>Pay is £13-£14 per hour depending on shift</li> <li>Weekly pay</li> <li>Holiday allowance</li> <li>Flexible work patterns to suit you!</li> </ul> <p>Further Information</p> <ul> <li>Full time and part time hours available</li> <li>Shift times include 7am-7pm, 7am-1pm, 7pm-7am and 7pm-11pm</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>I am keen to have an initial discussion with anyone who feels this could potentially be of interest.
