<p></p><strong>Care Technology Officer</strong><p> <strong>Wandsworth & Richmond (Hybrid - 2-3 days in office)</strong> <strong>£20.03 PAYE / £26.53 Umbrella</strong> <strong>3-month contract (likely extension)</strong> <strong>No DBS required</strong></p><strong>About the Role</strong><p>We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused <strong>Care Technology Officer</strong> to join the Transformation and Digital Service within a Shared Staffing Arrangement across the London Boroughs of Wandsworth and Richmond.</p><p>This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative service delivery, using technology to help residents live safely and independently in their own homes. You will play a key role in assessing, installing, maintaining, and promoting care technology solutions while working collaboratively across services and partners.</p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Carry out <strong>care technology assessments, installations, and risk assessments</strong> across both boroughs</li><li>Work closely with the <strong>Joint Control Centre (JCC)</strong> and service delivery partners</li><li>Promote care technology solutions across <strong>social care teams, health partners, and community organisations</strong></li><li>Review and adapt technology packages to ensure they meet service user needs</li><li>Maintain and repair equipment, arranging replacements where necessary</li><li>Support and train frontline staff on care technology processes and referrals</li><li>Deputise for the <strong>Care Technology Manager</strong>, including delivering induction training</li><li>Respond to enquiries from residents and stakeholders, providing expert advice</li><li>Monitor system reports and auto-tests to ensure equipment is functioning effectively</li><li>Manage user records within the <strong>Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC)</strong> system</li><li>Oversee <strong>stock control and ordering of equipment</strong></li><li>Stay up to date with the latest care technology developments</li></ul><strong>About You</strong><p>You will be:</p><ul><li>Experienced in <strong>care technology, assistive technology, or a similar field</strong></li><li>Comfortable working independently across multiple locations</li><li>A strong communicator, able to engage with a range of stakeholders</li><li>Organised, with experience managing records, systems, or stock control</li><li>Adaptable and confident working across differing processes and teams</li><li>Knowledgeable in systems such as <strong>Mosaic</strong> (desirable)</li><li>Passionate about improving outcomes for residents through innovation</li></ul><strong>What's on Offer</strong><ul><li>Competitive hourly rate</li><li>Hybrid working flexibility (2-3 days in the office)</li><li>Opportunity to work within an <strong>innovative, forward-thinking local authority partnership</strong></li><li>Exposure to cutting-edge <strong>digital and care technology solutions</strong></li><li>Potential for contract extension</li></ul><strong>Additional Information</strong><ul><li>Must be able to <strong>self-manage workload and work unsupervised</strong></li><li>Expected to travel across both boroughs</li><li>Commitment to <strong>equality, diversity, inclusion, and safeguarding</strong> is essential</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
