Architectural Technician

<strong>Architectural Technician, outskirts of Exeter, £30k - £45k DOE</strong><strong>Please contact Sophie Randle at RGB Recruitment for more information ASAP!</strong>A well-established architectural practice just outside of Exeter is looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist or fully qualified Technical Architect with around 10+ years' experience to join their team.This is a senior level position suited to someone confident leading the technical delivery of projects, particularly within the housing sector. Experience working with developer-led residential schemes is highly desirable, although experience from other backgrounds will also be considered.The practice delivers a range of projects including residential, industrial and commercial schemes, with leisure and hotel experience viewed as a bonus.<strong>Role & Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li>Leading the technical delivery of projects from planning through to construction</li><li>Producing and overseeing detailed construction drawing packages</li><li>Working closely with clients and consultant teams to ensure coordinated delivery</li><li>Managing and supervising projects on site, ensuring quality and compliance</li><li>Coordinating consultants and resolving technical queries during construction</li><li>Ensuring projects are delivered in line with Building Regulations and best practice</li><li>Mentoring and supporting junior team members where required</li></ul><strong>Requirements:</strong><ul><li>Relevant Architectural qualification</li><li>Minimum 10 years' experience within a UK architectural practice</li><li>Solid career history</li><li>Strong background in housing projects, ideally with developer clients</li><li>Experience across industrial, leisure, hotels and commercial sectors beneficial</li><li>Confident managing projects on site and overseeing technical delivery</li><li>Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing</li><li>AutoCAD proficiency is essential</li><li>Revit proficiency is preferred, however training will be provided</li></ul> This is a genuine opportunity to join a practice that values long term careers.
