Arable Farm Manager <p>Arable Farm Manager - Oxfordshire - £50,000 DOE + Accommodation + Company vehicle</p> The Job <p>A progressive and forward thinking farming business is seeking an experienced Arable Farm Manager to take responsibility for a large scale arable operation in Oxfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a modern, well invested farming enterprise with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation and high performance crop production. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing day to day operations while driving efficiency and continuous improvement across the farm.</p> Key responsibilities include <ul><li>Full management of arable operations across a large scale farm</li><li>Planning and delivering cropping programmes to maximise yield and quality</li><li>Managing cultivations, drilling, spraying and harvesting operations</li><li>Overseeing machinery use, maintenance and investment planning</li><li>Leading and supporting farm staff and contractors</li><li>Managing crop inputs including fertiliser, sprays and seed</li><li>Ensuring compliance with environmental, health & safety and assurance standards</li><li>Working closely with agronomists and senior management</li><li>Driving innovation, sustainability and best practice across the business</li></ul> The Candidate <ul><li>Proven experience in arable farm management</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of crop production and agronomy</li><li>Experience operating and managing modern farm machinery</li><li>Previous team management or supervisory experience</li><li>Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and inputs</li><li>Forward-thinking with an interest in sustainable practices</li><li>PA1/PA2 (essential), BASIS (desirable)</li><li>Full UK driving licence</li></ul> The Package <ul><li>Salary circa £50,000 DOE</li><li>Accommodation available</li><li>Company vehicle</li><li>Ongoing training and development</li><li>Long-term opportunity within a progressive farming business</li></ul><p>Please email your CV to Charlotte Powell, Senior Recruitment Delivery Consultant, .</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?Y%2fr8BHIvVXtAj%2bKEmtYWrW3gsvRMuOmyc" width="0" height="0" />
