<p><strong>1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Aldershot</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> £25,000-£28,000 per annum</p><p>Our client, a well-established MSP based near Aldershot, is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their team.</p><p>Supporting a diverse client base across the Education sector and local SMEs, this role offers excellent variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to work across multiple technologies and environments.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for a technically capable engineer who enjoys working in a client-facing MSP environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Deliver IT support to a variety of clients</li><li>Provide both remote and onsite troubleshooting and fault resolution</li><li>Install, configure and maintain Windows desktops, servers and applications</li><li>Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)</li><li>Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user provisioning and permissions</li><li>Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and basic network issues</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation and update ticketing systems</li><li>Ensure support tickets are managed in line with agreed SLAs</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear updates and managing expectations</li><li>Assist with project work including migrations, upgrades and new deployments</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>1+ years' experience in an IT support role (MSP experience highly desirable)</li><li>Strong knowledge of:</li><li>Windows 10/11</li><li>Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)</li><li>Active Directory & Group Policy</li><li>Microsoft 365 administration</li><li>Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)</li><li>Experience troubleshooting end-user hardware and peripherals</li><li>Strong customer service and communication skills</li><li>Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple support requests</li><li>Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle</li></ul><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?G0hIdw8wptv1K0CpOml%2b7jozOdWTfOTJq" width="0" height="0" />
