Wood Machinist

Wood CNC Machinist Location: Braintree Permanent Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Wood CNC Machinist on behalf of our client based in Braintree on a permanent or permanent basis. Roles & Responsibilities * Operate Wood CNC machinery safely and efficiently * Set and adjust CNC machines for production runs * Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications * Manufacture wooden components to precise measurements and specifications * Carry out quality checks on finished products * Use hand tools and measuring equipment where required * Maintain machinery and report faults when necessary * Follow all Health & Safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace * Work independently or within a team to meet production deadlines Additional Responsibilities * Experience within joinery or woodworking environments * Machine setting and tool changing experience * Sanding and finishing components where required Experience, Skills & Qualifications * Previous experience operating Wood CNC machinery * Ability to read technical drawings accurately * Strong attention to detail and quality standards * Experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools * Good organisational and time management skills * CNC programming experience advantageous Working Pattern & Benefits * Hours: Monday – Friday * Benefits: Overtime available, Free on-site parking * Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience Market 36 Recruitment Ltd cover a range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Engineering, HR & Finance and IT.
