Transport Manager Salary Negotiable Depending on Experience (£35,000 - £50,000 per year) Full Time | Permanent Work Strata Group are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established logistics client for an experienced Transport Manager to join their growing operation located in SR8. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and operationally focused Transport Manager to join a fast-paced transport and logistics business where you will play a key role in driving efficiency, compliance, and service delivery. The Role: You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of transport operations, ensuring legal compliance, operational efficiency, and outstanding customer service across the business. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who can confidently manage drivers, fleet compliance, KPIs and operational planning while maintaining high operational standards. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all transport operations and fleet activity Ensure full O Licence and transport compliance Manage driver performance, training, and development Lead and motivate the transport team Monitor vehicle maintenance and fleet roadworthiness Ensure compliance with driver hours and transport legislation Improve operational efficiency and reduce operating costs Work closely with the warehouse and operational teams Manage KPIs, budgets and service performance Develop and maintain strong customer relationships What We’re Looking For: Previous experience as a Transport Manager or similar senior transport role CPC Qualification essential Strong knowledge of transport legislation and compliance Experience managing drivers and fleet operations Excellent leadership and communication skills Commercial awareness with a focus on operational performance Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment Strong IT and transport systems knowledge What’s On Offer: Salary fully negotiable depending on experience Excellent long-term career opportunity Growing and supportive business environment Opportunity to make a real impact within the operation Stable, permanent position with progression potential Interested candidates should apply directly with Work Strata Group
