Toolmaker Wareham  An established precision engineering manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced Toolmaker to join its skilled production team. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on engineer seeking a stable long-term role with varied work and opportunities for progression within a supportive workshop environment. Key Responsibilities Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Manufacturing bespoke jigs and fixtures Operating and programming XYZ ProtoTRAK milling machines Carrying out manual milling and turning operations Producing high-quality components to ISO9001 standards Deburring and polishing finished components Conducting self-inspection throughout the manufacturing process Supporting the creation of work instructions and documentation Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safetyRequirements Minimum 3 years’ experience in manual machining, including milling and turning Ability to work from engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Capable of working independently and within a team Reliable, organised, and self-motivated approach Keen to develop within a growing engineering environmentBenefits Overtime available at enhanced rates 23 days holiday plus bank holidays Company pension scheme Free on-site parking Subsidised refreshments and snacks Permanent role with long-term progression opportunitiesWorking Hours 40-hour working weekIf you are an experienced Toolmaker looking for a varied role within a professional and friendly engineering environment, apply now for immediate consideration or call Rio on (phone number removed)
