Sub Agent – Bulk Earthworks Location: Aberdeen Duration: 5-Year Project We are currently working with a leading contractor who is looking to appoint a Sub Agent for a major bulk earthworks project based in Aberdeen. This is a long-term opportunity on a significant scheme, offering stability and involvement from early stages through to completion. Key Responsibilities: * Supporting the delivery of bulk earthworks packages in line with programme and budget * Managing Site & Section Engineers and overseeing daily site operations * Ensuring works are carried out safely and in accordance with design specifications and quality standards * Assisting with short-term planning, programme updates, and progress reporting * Managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities to ensure efficient delivery * Reviewing RAMS, ITPs, and QA documentation * Liaising with the Project Manager, commercial team, and client representatives * Monitoring productivity, resolving technical issues, and driving performance on site Requirements: * Proven experience working as a Sub Agent on bulk earthworks or heavy civils projects * Strong background delivering major infrastructure or civil engineering schemes * Previous experience managing engineering and site delivery teams * Good understanding of QA processes, permits, and site documentation * Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and site procedures * SMSTS and CSCS required * Excellent communication and organisational skills What’s on Offer: * Long-term role on a 5-year project * Opportunity to work on a major scheme with a well-established contractor * Competitive day rate / salary package depending on experience
