Typical equipment will include: Generators Power tools Whacker plates Small plant machinery Duties of the Small Tools Fitter will include: Carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently Preparing equipment for hire Ensuring equipment meets health and safety standards Keeping accurate service records Supporting the workshop team when required This Small Tools Fitter role would suit someone with previous experience working within the plant hire, tool hire, construction, or powered access industries.
