Qualified SEN Teacher (QTS) – Various SEN Schools Across Birmingham SEN Specialist Teacher – Full & Part Time Opportunities
Location: Birmingham
Pay: £140 - £220 Per day (Based on experience)
Contract: Flexible full time and part time opportunities available
Smile Education is currently supporting a number of specialist SEN schools and alternative provisions across Birmingham who are seeking experienced and passionate Qualified SEN Teachers (QTS).
We are looking for dedicated teachers with experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, severe learning difficulties and challenging behaviour across both primary and secondary settings.
The Role
• Deliver engaging and differentiated SEN lessons tailored to individual pupil needs.
• Support pupils with EHCPs and complex barriers to learning.
• Foster positive relationships and promote emotional wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists and support staff.
• Implement behaviour support strategies and personalised interventions.
• Encourage independence, communication and confidence within the classroom.
• Maintain safeguarding and inclusion throughout the school environment.

Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
• SEN teaching experience preferred.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Passionate about inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply through Smile Education.
• Ability to provide references covering the last 2 years.
