Registered Manager - Children's Residential Home
Wolverhampton
Up to £55,000 per annum
Full Time | Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a specialist Children's Residential Home in Wolverhampton.
The home supports young people aged 8-18 with mild to moderate learning difficulties, mental health needs, and associated behaviours within a therapeutic and nurturing environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a service focused on delivering high-quality, child-centred care while promoting positive outcomes and independence for young people.
About the Home
The service provides medium to long-term residential care and works closely with a multidisciplinary team to support children with complex emotional and behavioural needs. The home follows a therapeutic approach using the PACE model (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy).
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the home
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations 2015
Promote safeguarding and high standards of care
Lead, motivate and develop the staff team
Ensure care plans are tailored to young people's individual needs
Build positive relationships with families and professionals
Maintain a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environmentRequirements
Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within children's residential care
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
Experience supporting children with complex needs, learning disabilities or mental health needs
Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or working towards)
Full UK Driving LicenceWhat's on Offer
