The Role
As Project Controls Manager, you will lead all project controls activities across a major chemical plant construction site. Your responsibilities will include overseeing programme development and maintenance in Primavera P6, managing project reporting, and integrating controls across multiple disciplines. You will work directly on site, collaborating closely with project management, construction teams, and external partners to ensure schedule accuracy, monitor progress, and support decision-making. Your day-to-day actions will span progress tracking, risk management, change impact assessments, and performance reporting.
You will have the following qualifications & experience
Proven expertise in project controls leadership within major construction, engineering, or industrial projects.
Extensive knowledge and practical skills in Primavera P6, NEC4 contractual procedures, and risk management tools.
Demonstrable experience in planning, progress measurement, reporting, change management, and cost control.
Expert understanding of complex project environments such as petrochemical, process plant, or heavy industrial settings.
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills, with confidence to challenge and influence at all levels.
