Mobile Vehicle Technician

This opportunity is ideal for skilled professionals looking to work outside of traditional workshop settings, focusing on roadside assistance, fleet servicing, and specialised DPF work. Benefits: * Competitive basic salary of up to £40,000, with an OTE of £45,000 * 5-day working week from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday * 1-in-2 Saturdays with a day off in lieu * Company van and equipment provided * Comprehensive 2-week training and induction programme * 20 days holiday plus bank holidays * Supportive, expanding national business specialising in mobile servicing and DPF work * Supportive team environment with opportunities for mentorship and development Duties of the Mobile Vehicle Technician: * Carry out roadside assistance and fleet maintenance across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Berkshire * Diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently on-site and on the road * Perform specialist DPF work, including servicing, repairs, and replacements * Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and general vehicle maintenance * Use hand and power tools to carry out repairs and installations * Maintain accurate records of all work completed * Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and procedures * Collaborate with team members to optimise operational efficiency as a Mobile Vehicle Technician * Provide support and guidance to junior technicians as required Requirements of the Mobile Vehicle Technician: * Minimum Level 2 automotive qualification or equivalent, or proven time-served experience as a Vehicle Technician * Extensive experience working independently in a mobile or roadside environment * Knowledge of DPF systems, especially on diesel vehicles, is highly advantageous * Clean UK driving licence with minimal points * Reliable and well-organised with a strong work ethic * Ability to produce high-quality work within a fast-paced environment * Motivated team player with good communication skills * Basic tools required, with a professional approach to service standards If this Mobile Vehicle Technician role aligns with your skills and career aspirations, and you are eager to work in a rewarding environment with excellent career progression, please contact Ben Loft at Perfect Placement UK Ltd today to discover more about this exciting opportunity.
