Insurance Broker

We pride ourselves on offering a friendly, personal service and building strong relationships within our community.   We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Insurance Broker to join our team. While previous insurance experience and knowledge would be advantageous, we are also keen to hear from candidates with strong administration and customer service backgrounds who are looking to build a career within insurance.   This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and welcoming team where customer service remains at the heart of what we do.   Key Responsibilities: Supporting personal and commercial insurance customers with their enquiries Handling day-to-day policy administration accurately and efficiently Using our broking systems to update records, process information, and manage insurance documentation Preparing customer files and maintaining electronic records Issuing quotations, documentation, and correspondence Taking payments for insurance policies over the telephone Answering incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately Welcoming customers into the office and assisting with front desk enquiries Providing general administrative support across the team   What We’re Looking For: Previous experience within the insurance sector preferred Experience using Acturis broking system would be advantageous Strong administration and organisational skills Confident and professional communication skills, both over the phone and in person High levels of accuracy and attention to detail A personable and customer-focused approach Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team   We would particularly welcome applications from individuals with strong customer service or administrative experience who enjoy working with people and are looking for a long-term opportunity within a respected local business.
