Helpdesk Administrator
Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
Fully Onsite
We are currently recruiting for a Helpdesk Administrator to join a client team based at Midlands Metropolitan University Hospital. This role sits within a busy facilities management environment supporting the delivery of essential services across a large healthcare estate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all maintenance and service requests are logged, managed, and progressed efficiently, providing a high level of customer service and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing incoming calls, emails, and service requests
Logging and tracking maintenance jobs through internal systems
Allocating work orders to engineers and subcontractors
Monitoring job progress to ensure SLA targets are met
Providing high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Supporting administrative processes including reporting and purchase orders
Assisting with complaint handling and query resolution
Requirements:
Previous experience in administration, helpdesk, or customer service roles
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Professional telephone manner and strong attention to detail
Experience within FM, maintenance, or healthcare environments is desirable but not essential
Working Hours:
Shift rota:
7:00am - 3:00pm
11:00am - 7:00pmSome weekend and bank holiday working may be required.
