Group Health & Safety Manager – FMCG (6-Month Contract) We are supporting a large, multi-site FMCG business in the appointment of a Group Health & Safety Manager on a 6-month contract. This is a key interim role, responsible for leading H&S strategy, compliance, and culture across multiple manufacturing and distribution sites in a fast-paced operational environment. Working closely with senior leadership and site teams, you will provide clear direction on health & safety performance, ensuring consistent standards across the group while driving continuous improvement and behavioural safety. Key responsibilities: * Lead and deliver the group H&S strategy during the contract period * Partner with site leadership across multiple FMCG locations * Drive improvements in safety culture and operational compliance * Ensure adherence to UK H&S legislation and company standards * Oversee audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations * Report on H&S performance to senior stakeholders * Provide visible, hands-on leadership across all sites Candidate requirements: * Proven H&S leadership experience within FMCG, manufacturing, or similar environments * Strong understanding of UK H&S legislation and operational application * NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent); IOSH Chartered status preferred * Experience in multi-site or group-level roles * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills * Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to influence at all levels This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced H&S professional to step into a senior interim role and make an immediate impact within a leading FMCG organisation
