Family Solicitor

Family Solicitor (2+ PQE) Stockport We’re working with a well-established regional law firm looking to add a Family Solicitor to their team. This is a good opportunity if you want proper exposure to a varied caseload while still having support around you. You’ll be working closely with senior lawyers but trusted to run your own files day to day. The role: * Managing a mixed family caseload including financial matters, children work and injunctions * Speaking directly with clients and handling matters from instruction through to completion * Supporting business development and building your own network over time * Managing your own billing, time recording and file progression What they’re looking for: * Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE in family law * Comfortable running your own caseload with support where needed * Strong client skills and able to handle sensitive situations properly * Organised, steady and able to manage deadlines What’s on offer: * Hybrid working * 24 days holiday plus bank holidays and Christmas closure * Birthday off * Private healthcare and medical support * Pension and additional benefits This would suit someone who wants to step into a role where they can build confidence, take ownership and progress, without being left on their own.
