Electrician – Commercial New Build (Long-Term Project) Cardiff, South Wales 60 hours per week £25.00 per hour + Overtime Rates 12-Month Contract | Immediate Start We are currently looking for experienced Electricians to join a major new build healthcare project in Cardiff. This is a long-term opportunity working on a large-scale, technically complex M&E installation, delivering a high-spec facility within a structured, well-managed site environment. The Role You will be part of an established electrical team delivering a full installation package on a live commercial construction project. Duties will include: * Installation of containment, cabling and electrical systems * Working from drawings and specifications * Supporting fit-out and final stages of installation as the project progresses * Ensuring all works are completed safely, to programme and in line with quality standards What We’re Looking For * Valid JIB Card (essential) * Proven experience on commercial new build projects such as: * Hospitals * Schools * Supermarkets * Large-scale commercial developments * Ability to work in a structured site environment with tight deadlines * Reliable, safety-focused and able to work as part of a team Hours & Pay * £25.00 per hour (standard rate) * Overtime paid after 45 hours at x1.33 (£33.25 per hour) * Work on Saturday paid at x1.33 (£33.25 per hour) Working hours: * Monday to Friday: 7:30am start / 12-hour shifts (60 hours per week) * Saturday: 5.5-hour shift available What’s On Offer * Up to 12 months’ work on a major flagship project * Consistent hours with strong earning potential * Well-managed site with a structured delivery team * Opportunity to be part of a high-profile commercial development
