BIM Technician

Job Title - BIM Technician Start Date - Ideally start of June Duration - 6 Month Contract (potential for extension) Working Model - Onsite in Sheffield (Once trained may be some opportunity for hybrid) Hourly Rate - Circa £30p/hour BIM Technician Overview My client is seeking a BIM Technician to support the delivery of specialist laboratory and technical facility projects across the research, health care, education, and industrial sectors. You will be responsible for producing and maintaining accurate 3D BIM models and Revit drawings, ensuring all design information is fully coordinated and kept up to date throughout the project life cycle. Working closely with design and engineering teams, you will help ensure smooth collaboration and consistency across all project information. The BIM Technician role will involve: Producing and maintaining accurate 3D BIM models and Revit drawings Supporting the delivery of specialist laboratory and technical facility projects across research, healthcare, education, and industrial sectors Ensuring all design information is fully coordinated and kept up to date throughout the project lifecycle Working closely with design and engineering teams to ensure consistency across all project information Supporting the successful delivery of complex, high-quality design projects from concept through to completion The BIM Technician will need to have the following attributes: Strong experience producing and maintaining 3D BIM models and Revit drawings Experience working within design teams on technical or complex building projects Ability to manage and update the BIM model and project Revit drawings Experience with construction platforms such as Asite, Aconex, or 4Projects would be advantageous Ability to manage workload and contribute to projects through all stages of delivery Good communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approachIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV, along with your availability and hourly rate expectations
