The role

Planning and carrying out First Article Inspections in line with AS9102 requirements
Completing, reviewing and signing off FAI reports for assemblies and customer deliverables
Conducting patrol inspection audits across manufacturing areas in line with internal procedures
Creating audit reports, metrics and corrective action tracking for inspection activity

Supporting continuous improvement of inspection and FAI processes
Maintaining accurate inspection records and quality data
Using QMS and business systems to support inspection reporting and analysis
Supporting wider inspection department activity as required
What you’ll need
Background in manufacturing or engineering
Experience in a quality, inspection or quality engineering role
Good understanding of AS9100 and AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Confident with data, reporting and Microsoft Office tools
Comfortable working in a regulated, safety‑critical environment
Aerospace experience is desirable but not essential if you have relevant quality or inspection experience in a technical manufacturing setting.
What’s on offer
£38,000–£39,000 salary
Standard days at a well‑established Denham site
Strong benefits package
Long‑term stability in a safety‑critical aerospace environment
Opportunity to develop further within inspection, audit and quality engineering
This is a permanent opportunity within a highly respected aerospace manufacturer, working on complex, safety‑critical products where quality and compliance are central to everything the business does.
