<p><p><b> Vehicle Technician / Mechanic - Build & Assembly (Day Shift)</b><br> Central Belt (East Kilbride) | 18-21 per hour | Monday-Friday | 40 hours | Day Shift | Immediate Starts Available </p><p> We're working with a growing Scottish manufacturing business that has moved quickly from concept to production and is now scaling. </p><p> They're now looking to bring in <b> experienced Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics </b> to support the build and assembly of their product. </p><p> This is not a standard servicing role. </p><p> It's hands-on, full vehicle build work where you'll be involved from start to finish, working closely with engineers and technicians in a structured, quality-led environment. </p><p></p> What you'll be doing <p></p><ul><li> Mechanical assembly and fitment of components </li><li> Working from engineering drawings and build instructions </li><li> Using hand tools, torque equipment and measurement tools </li><li> Supporting testing, fault finding and build quality </li><li> Completing build documentation and quality checks </li><li> Working as part of a close-knit production team </li></ul><p></p> What we're looking for <p></p><ul><li> Background as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic </li><li> Open to automotive, HGV, plant, heavy engineering or similar </li><li> Strong mechanical skills and confidence using tools </li><li> Experience with assembly, repairs or diagnostics </li><li> Good attention to detail and pride in your work </li><li> Willingness to learn and develop new skills </li></ul><p></p> What's on offer <p></p><ul><li>18-21 per hour depending on experience </li><li> Day shift, Monday to Friday </li><li> Permanent role with immediate start available </li><li> Opportunity to move into a modern manufacturing environment </li><li> Training provided into new technologies and systems </li></ul><p> If you're looking to move away from routine servicing and into something more involved and hands-on, this is worth a conversation. </p>
