You will play a central role in building robust, scalable data solutions that support critical decision-making across major infrastructure programmes. </p><p></p><p> Working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment, you will help embed data-driven thinking, improve processes, and influence how teams operate. It is an ideal role for someone who enjoys both technical challenge and stakeholder engagement. </p><p></p><p></p><p><strong> Key Responsibilities </strong></p><p></p><ul><li> Develop and maintain data models supporting change control processes </li><li> Build and optimise PowerBI dashboards using Databricks data models </li><li> Deliver data engineering solutions using SQL and Python </li><li> Align business requirements with data logic and reporting outputs </li><li> Collaborate with IT, IIM, and IDA stakeholders </li><li> Drive adoption of data-centric tools and ways of working </li><li> Support team upskilling and knowledge sharing initiatives </li><li> Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards </li><li> Enable data-driven insights for project decision-making </li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><strong> Qualifications & Requirements </strong></p><p></p><ul><li> Degree in a science, engineering, or technical discipline (or equivalent experience)</li><li> Proven experience in data engineering, software development, and visualisation </li><li> Strong coding skills in SQL and Python </li><li> Experience with Databricks and PowerBI </li><li> Solid database management expertise </li><li> Strong organisational and project coordination skills </li><li> Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities </li><li> Ability to manage issues and escalate effectively </li><li> Experience in regulated industries (nuclear desirable)</li><li> Understanding of budget and schedule management advantageous </li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><strong> What’s in it for you: </strong></p><p></p><p> The nuclear energy sector offers long-term stability, meaningful impact, and exposure to cutting-edge innovation.
