NEW Support Worker Role in Edinburgh!
Join our team as a Support Worker at Castlebrae Glebe and be part of a compassionate and dedicated team committed to providing exceptional care and support to our service users.
As a Support Worker, you’ll make a real difference every day by assisting individuals with daily activities, promoting independence, and helping to create a welcoming and supportive environment. Whether you’re experienced or new to care, we offer comprehensive training and development to support you.
Please note for this role, and for genuine occupational requirement reasons, we are looking to appoint Female Support Workers (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).
24 hours a week on a shift Rota of 3 days a week.
In your role as Support Worker, you will provide care and support to individuals in their own homes including:
- Assisting and supporting with personal care, including intimate personal care
- Hold an SVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or have the ability and willingness to undertake this qualification
- Be required to obtain registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of taking up the post
Flexible working hours - various shift patterns available dependant on the needs of the service
